![]() ![]() I suggest cleaning your bestiary every 20 maps or so, as if you get 10 beasts a map that are duped from the compass, that is 400 beasts plus a considerable additional number of beasts if you get a Great Migration proc. Try not to kill/capture bad red beasts, as it will cost 2c to remove them from your bestiary each time you do so, considering the 1000 beast limit in your bestiary. I highly suggest using a beast copy compass any time you are beast farming, as it will double your profits on big beasts, as well as double yellow beasts, which still make up a considerable amount of profit when sold in bulk. I generally run using Polished Bestiary Scarabs, as Gilded only add 1 additional red beast, and are about 2.5x the price. The character only has about 4.3k hp, but has 30k evasion, 30k armour, 100% spell suppression, over 500 life regen, and Feast of Flesh from Devouring Diadem for a possible 4000 life recovered every 5 seconds while mapping. In total I believe I spent about 30 divines on the character for 134M dps, but I can achieve over 152M dps if I drop another 20 divines on an Uul-Netol's Vow. Mind you the character is still not cheap, but is nowhere close to the investment of characters with similar DPS on other skills. If you want the best out of this strat, I would suggest having at least 25M dps, and preferably 50M+, and ideally 100M+, which seems like a lot, but I will link my Explosive Trap character for those looking to boost their single target without spending an arm and a leg. Essences and Strongboxes are very easy kills by simply pre-laying a full stack of traps/mines if you're on a trapper/miner character. Red beasts can also end up being incredibly tanky with the wrong mods, but not nearly as much as metamorphs. When combined with a possible innate 900% more mult on life from the juice being full, they will end with 50x more HP than an empty metamorph with no passives or compasses. I was previously running a DoT cap poison Seismic Trap character with culling strike that dealt an average of 40M dps once poison was fully stacked, and occasionally still struggled with certain Metamorphs, of which will have 5x more HP than normal with the atlas passives and compasses we use. This subreddit is not for price checking as that does not correlate with builds.Īs a preface, this strategy will hinge on moderate but not top tier clear speed, and hefty single target damage.
